After the first night John Stewart made fun of him, Cramer should have drafted a statement to the effect of John Stewart is a professional comedian whose job it is to poke fun at public figures. Last night was my turn, tomorrow night will be someone else’s turn. Then when a journalist contacted his office for a response his assistant could have issued the statement, thus relieving Cramer of making a direct response. Cramer himself should have made no reference to it.
By going on the Today Show, and MSNBC, Cramer set himself up for additional satire.

Conditional access TV goes mass market in Italy
SmarDTV to be bundled with Italian Samsung TVs
Very cool.
Over the past two years SmarDTV, backed by security company Kudelski, has worked closely with the major TV set manufacturers, the Italian broadcasters Mediaset, Telecom Italia Media, and Pangea, and with the DGTVi committee representing all TV broadcasters in Italy. The result of these efforts is not only the SmarCAM Italia product, but also a set of implementation guidelines, an interoperability partner program, and a broadcaster certification process.
Very cool.

TitanTV Moves Beyond Listings
Which Al Gore was this? The winner of the 2000 popular vote? The Oscar winning Al Gore? The Noble laureate?
What's wrong with coming across like Al Gore?
The Daily Greens program delivers environmental tips without coming off like Al Gore at the podium.

What is Firebrand Monday?
Firebrand
The marketing coattails of the Super Bowl never ceases to amaze me.
The Super Bowl has always been the holy grail of advertising and Firebrand celebrates that," says Shari F. Leventhal, Chief Marketing Officer. "Most people watch the Super Bowl with hopes of seeing the best, most creative commercials the ad industry can serve up. The greatest commercials get to play every day at Firebrand. So the Firebrand Monday campaign is our way of saluting the best of these commercials, past and present, as well as the famous icons that make commercials so memorable, and in many cases, a part of pop culture.
