All good press is good press

Pitching to Indian bloggers - how many are worth pitching to?

I have been writing about blogger relations as an essential PR tool in these days of media 2.0. But the question was how many serious blogs are in India that command big readerships? There are blogs on stock markets that top the list of Indianbloggers.com - business category

Any blog, any publication, is worth pitching. Some more than others, but any good mention is a good hit. Clients cannot be expected to think that way. So what if their product gets a rave review on a site that has five readers? But if you get enough mentions on sites like that you can use them in a pitch to establishment journalists as a way of demonstrating your client’s newsworthiness. All good press is good press.
